FunPlus – Unannounced Title – Full M Strategy

he Game Marketer joined forces with FunPlus on an upcoming, yet to be announced project, which pushes the limit on what is possible in the genre this title sits within. Our responsibilities within this scope focused on a full go-to-market strategy – from the RRP to the ARG and Marketing Keybeats.

Go-To-Market Strategy

Being so early into their development process, a lot of the game’s substance wasn’t in place and as such, The Game Marketer worked extremely closely with the dev team to understand the basis of how they perceived the mood, tone and visual identity of the title. As part of this partnership, The Game Marketer evaluated the full competitive landscape and micro-analysed how this title would excel over similar titles.

ARG and Keybeats

This element leant massively on the team’s creativity, collaborating with a third-party to bring a thrilling, real-world experience that would later lead players to life. The ARG was a pivotal item for the client as this would enable the world to put the client on the map with an activation that tied many core elements of the game together in a spectacular way. The Game Marketer created several activations that would cover the full launch period taking the game to 1.0 with social, influencer and community events.
