Deploying New Mobile Strategy

Bandai Namco approached TGM to support the Western promotion of SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, with a focus on expanding visibility and driving mobile user acquisition across key territories that include: USA, Canada, UK, and Australia. The title already carried strong recognition in Asia, however, the challenge was identifying the right channels, audiences, and strategies that would get Western gamers playing.

Mission Objective

Build a scalable mobile acquisition strategy that generates strong ROAS and reaches both Gundam and strategy-loving gamers. Upon completion, TGM must return home for long-term monitoring outside Bandai Namco’s more familiar regional ecosystems.

To help SD Gundam G Generation Eternal connect with Western audiences, TGM recommended a mobile acquisition strategy built around familiar platforms in those regions like Reddit, IronSource, and Unity. Rather than immediately scaling across multiple countries, we began with Australia as a focused testing ground to identify performance trends, audience behaviour, and ROAS potential. Early Reddit performance quickly showed strong results, giving Bandai Namco the confidence to expand investment into additional territories, including the USA, UK, and Canada. The USA in particular emerged as a high-performing region, helping transform the campaign from a short-term test into an ongoing mobile acquisition initiative.
