Gameplay Trailer Production

Show. Don’t Tell

You did not spend years building your game just for it to be represented by a rushed recording with some royalty-free music. Your game has a vision, a feeling, a reason to exist! Our job is to make sure anyone who watches your trailer gets it. Not just what the game looks like. Not just what you can do it it.

But why it was made and why it’s worth playing.

Gameplay Trailer Production

A great gameplay trailer is not just footage cut together. It is a story told in sixty seconds that makes players want to be part of it. Every decision shapes how your game is perceived before a single button is clicked. We make sure every second counts.

Conceptualisation & Storyboarding

Before a single frame is captured, the trailer needs a clear creative direction. We work with you to develop the concept, narrative arc, and storyboard, mapping out key moments you want included with proper pacing.

Let’s Build It

Gameplay Capture

Great trailers are built on great footage. Every capture session is planned around your game's strongest moments so nothing worth showing gets missed. We handle in-game and in-engine capture across PC and console, all according to our proposed sequences.

Get It Done

Video Editing

Raw footage becomes a trailer in the edit. We cut, pace, and polish your gameplay capture into a finished trailer built around your game's tone, audience, and platform. Be it announcement, launch trailer, or a short-form social cut, our edit is crafted to hold attention.

HOW WE WORK

Making a Trailer Worth Watching

From conceptualisation and capture through to the final edit, here is exactly how we take your game from raw footage to a trailer worth watching.

01

Conceptualise

From our initial conversation, we dig into your game, your audience, and the feeling you want players to walk away with. There we developer a narrative arc and a storyboard.

02

Capture

With the approved concept, we handle in-game and in-engine capture across PC and console. Every capture session is planned around your game's strongest moments so nothing worth showing gets missed.

03

Cut

This is where everything comes together. We cut, pace, and polish the footage into a finished trailer built around your game's tone, audience, and platform.

FAQ About Gameplay Trailer Production

What types of trailers do you produce?

+
  • We produce announce trailers, gameplay trailers, launch trailers, cinematic trailers, and short-form social cuts.

Do you need access to our game to capture footage?

+
  • Not necessarily. If you can provide existing footage or assets we can work with those. However, it would be greatly helpful for us to capture in-game sequences depending on what is scripted for the trailer.

How long does a gameplay trailer take to produce?

+
  • It depends on the scope. A short-form social cut can turn around relatively quickly. A full announce or launch trailer takes longer because it requires time to do properly.

Can you produce a trailer for a game that is still in development?

+
  • Yes and we actually recommend it. Announce and teaser trailers are most effective when produced early. Getting a trailer produced during development gives you a marketing asset to build momentum around rather than scrambling to produce one at the last minute.

What is the difference between a gameplay trailer and a cinematic trailer?

+
  • A gameplay trailer shows what it actually feels like to play the game. A cinematic trailer tells a story through pre-rendered or highly produced sequences, often without showing gameplay.

Can you repurpose trailer footage for paid media and social content?

+
  • Definitely. Once the trailer is produced we can cut it down into platform-specific formats. Repurposing trailer footage is one of the most cost-efficient ways to extend the life of your production budget.
