EDYN multiplayer Web3 strategy game logo by Genius DigitalEDYN Web3 game marketing case study by The Game Marketer covering go-to-market strategy paid media and influencer campaign

EDYN

Genius Digital are a team of specialist web3 developers that were charged with making their next addition to their catalogue – EDYN. This multiplayer strategy game leveraged various animal factions waging war on each other in a highly visual and complex way. The Game Marketer was brought in early on to develop a go-to-market plan and see it through to its execution.

The Challenge

Due to the minimal marketing understanding of the development team, Genius Digital needed a partner that could ideate a worldclass marketing plan. Many challenges presented themselves from the public perception of Web3 to the minimal assets and content that was available. The Game Marketer needed to be agile and utilize the material available to make a meaningful impact on the success of this project.

The Solution

The Game Marketer built a full marketing framework for Genius Digital which enabled rapid wishlist editions, which later led to a steady stream of conversions when the game entered its early access. We aimed to connect with relevant influencers that would promote the game with both traditional & web3 audiences, whilst also crafting content that would highlight the games unique art style and presentation.
